After meeting up with Nic and his two rescue dobies - Pluto and Roo, from West Country Dobermann rescue. Nic had told me a lovely place to go an explore for the next day, the reservoir which was just a 10 minute drive form where I was driving. Now it isn’t the easiest to find the parking, I must have drove past the turning 2 or 3 times before zooming in on apple maps on satellite mode to see what looked like a car parking space. It didn’t help that there was a massive hut in front of the “Parking” sign.

Anyway, after finding it, parking up and paying for parking. Which, by the way is £1.50 for 2 hours or £2.50 for all day. Zoe and I set off exploring the area, now I was told that it can get quite busy, but it would seem with it being Monday. Everyone was at work, so I may have bumped into a handful of people whilst on our walk along the inner path. The inner path meant that Zoe had to be on lead as it runs right up against the reservoir, and as signs basically told me that no doggos are allowed in the water. Luckily for me, Zoe isn’t a water dog but I figured I would keep to the rules and keep her on a long lead. After a one trip round, I decided to check out the outer path, where I could let Zoe off lead to roam around freely, keep an eye that she didn’t go off too much without me…… We ended up staying for almost 4 hours, just taking different paths every time and what a stunning location it was, and a super tired Zoe for afterwards.
